Fenwick Smith, the former MBO of e-comeleon Ltd, established Empor Ltd in 2006. e-comeleon, Ltd was the entity responsible for the development of the original 3D Comeleon Process proprietary imprinting process, which was patented in 2000.
Under Fenwick’s direction, Empor Ltd has continuously refined and enhanced the process for applying durable and dynamic full color 3D digital images or designs directly onto three dimensional objects manufactured from plastic, glass, ceramic or metal.
As a result Empor Ltd’s trained technicians can transfer any high resolution, full color image ONto and INto the surface of complex 3 dimensional plastic, metal or ceramic products with high resistance to scratching and wear.
Empor Ltd’s patented processes provide options for “extreme” product branding as well as differentiation, customization and personalization opportunities. Empor Ltd’s digital imaging technology enables individual personalization within the context of large production runs without additional cost. Images are applied with close tolerance-tight registration and can be optimized to fit virtually any component such as cell phone or computer mouse covers.
The 3D Comeleon Process is scaleable with relatively low capital requirements and is capable of being semi-automated so that designs can be produced quickly and cost effectively. Empor Ltd can either license and install the technology in a client facility as well as establish a comprehensive supply chain…providing a reliable stream of production consumables necessary to support and sustain the production process.
